This Privacy Policy explains how Elda Loop LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles your information when you use the Elda Loop app. We believe in being straightforward about data practices.
What We Collect
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email, name, and age range. You can optionally add profile details like photos and interests.
Location Data: We use your zip code for local recommendations. When using Journey Mode (navigation), we access precise location with your permission. You can disable this anytime in your device settings.
Preferences: Your cuisine preferences, budget, dining companions, and activity interests — all so we can give you better recommendations.
Usage Data: How you interact with the app — plans viewed, places visited, items saved to your Vault.
Messages: If you use our chat feature, we store messages to provide the service.
How We Use It

Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. Delete your account anytime in settings — we'll remove your data within 30 days. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.

Security

Age Requirement
Elda Loop is for users 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe someone under 18 has signed up, contact us.
California Residents
CCPA provides additional rights: right to know what data we collect, right to delete, right to opt out of sales (we don't sell data anyway).
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
